The route of the Santa Engracia Battery offers a profile with an ascent in two stages. The first one is a regular one in the direction of La Chapelle over 2.5 km in order to reach the plateau and then La Chapelle at 300 m with a beautiful viewpoint. On the way back, you can turn right to enjoy a second viewpoint on a small section of the road at km 3.3 before reaching the crossroads and turn left to climb back up towards the Battery at km 4.9.
Once you reach the summit at 860 m above sea level, you will enjoy another superb viewpoint over the whole valley.
From this highest point, you will go down for 3.9 km to reach the starting point by the same path.
